To help improve the quality of your services and provide you with a better, safer online experience, your software includes an automatic reporting feature that allows you to submit your service information and the errors that your application encounters to our Managed Service Delivery Platform center.
Here we describe the details of the information that is collected, why it is collected and how it is being used.
Each installation of Radialpoint Security Services produces a unique number. When you install your copy of the software, we collect the installation status and any errors that you may encounter during the installation, in addition to the unique installation number, and send this information back to our Managed Service Delivery Platform (MSDP) center. This information is used to measure the quality of service installation and delivery and to help improve our service delivery process.
If you choose to use any of our critical security services, the state of this service (whether it is on or off) is sent to our MSDP center. This information is used to measure the quality and the usage of our critical services.
If you choose to use our Virus Protection or Spyware Protection services, the name of the viruses and spyware that are detected and the action taken for each detected virus and spyware is sent to our MSDP center. This information will help improve the quality of our Virus protection and Spyware Protection services. The Virus Protection and Spyware Protection services also perform automatic updates; each time a new update is downloaded and installed, the installation status and any errors that are encountered are sent to MSDP center.
