Report a Bug

The best way to report a bug is through the Diagnostic Utility, a separate program included with Radialpoint Security Services. With the Diagnostic Utility, all important log and report files are submitted automatically, which allows us to fully assess the nature of the problem.

Submitting a bug report using the Diagnostic Utility

To submit a bug report through the Diagnostic Utility:

1. Click Start, All Programs (or Programs), Radialpoint Security Services, Diagnostic Utility.
  A message appears warning that Internet access is required in order to run tests. If Radialpoint Security Services is running, you are also told that Radialpoint Security Services will be shut down.
2. Click OK. If required, Radialpoint Security Services is shut down.
3. Click Next to start the diagnostics.
  After the tests are complete, a message appears stating whether something was found.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Request Support.
7. In the Email address box, type your email address.
  Note: If we require more information, this email will be used to contact you.
8. In the Comments box, type a description of your problem. Include as many details as possible, such as the steps you took that led to the problem.
  The submission automatically includes log files that support personnel will use to help determine the problem.
9. Click Send.
  A message appears stating that the submission was successful.
10. Click OK.
11. Click Finish.
12. When asked to restart Radialpoint Security Services, click Yes.
